This Lung Cancer Awareness Video helps bust the myth of lung cancer as an “old man or smoker’s disease” and raises awareness about the disease among all types of people.
Lung cancer was the leading cause of cancer death in the U.S. in 2019, accounting for 23% of all cancer deaths. One way to reduce this number is through screening for high-risk individuals, allowing early detection of the disease when it is most treatable and even curable. We were able to help our client, the Go2Foundation for Lung Cancer:
- raise awareness about lung cancer and show that it’s not only a “smoker’s disease”;
- actively promote cancer screening for lung cancer, just as we screen for other cancers such as breast, colon, or prostate cancer; and
- engage diverse audiences, including young patients and people of color.
