And with the pandemic and the need to convert to virtual, it was still important to retain this high-end feel. To do this, CAI created a high-quality virtual conference welcome video featuring the president of the convening organization.
There are ways to record speeches and presentations virtually that are a significant grade above typical Zoom recordings. However, CAI wished to integrate at least the welcome message for the online conference using the quality of filming that is far more feasible in person. This involves professional lighting, camera lenses that can capture a beautiful portrait view with shallow depth of field in the background, and 4K resolution. For this to be possible amidst the severity of COVID-19 at the time of filming, CAI relied on MiniMatters. We were able to film their virtual conference welcome video using a COVID-compliant filming process. This involved following a set of industry-recommended health declarations and safety protocols before, during and following the filming.
